Good Bye, Pluto

Pluto cremation 01

Pluto 10-07-2015

Pluto, a senior resident of Metta Cats/Dogs Shelter, took her last breath at 10.45pm last night, in the presence of her mummy, Siew Ying.

Background:(about 8-9 years ago) a couple found Pluto at the ECP near Siglap. The couple brought her to a shelter but couldn’t afford to pay the boarding charges. Someone called Auntie Siew Ying for help. She was resting at home with fever then. With no place to go, Siew Ying struggled to admit Pluto into Metta Cats/Dogs Shelter. Siew Ying recalled, “Initially she was very scared of people. Couldn’t get near her. Slowly she got used to us. Her skin condition was caused by an ex-volunteer who added strong detergent into shampoo to bathe her.”
