Little Dobi
How you were blinded, we will never know
How you ended up in a drain, we will never know
But we do know, someone cared enough about you to pick you up from the drain
We do know that Siew Ying took you into her care in 2013
We do know you are now safe and well loved
We do know your short life is coming to an end
We do know you will depart with good memories
We hope your chapter as a cat will end smoothly with as little discomfort as possible
May Dobi be free of sufferings
May Dobi be happy

Dobi was found in a drain in Tanjong Pagar in 2013, already blind then. Siew Ying of Metta Cats/Dogs Shelter took him in. Last month, he was admitted to Frankel Vet Centre where he was diagnosed with pancreatitis and moderate to advanced stage of chronic kidney disease and also FIV+.
He was discharged from the vet centre to a foster-home where he would be cared for until his last breath.

Dobi’s top of the bucket list:

Wishing for help for Siew Ying of Metta Cats/Dogs Shelter.

With the huge expenses of “new” shelter, every little sponsor of the basic necessities of the cats and dogs such as food goes a big way to lighten the financial load.
