#DownMemoryLaneMCDS 7 years ago 8 August 2013 At the previous Pasir Ris Farmway 2 location (within TOPRBREED TRADING CO.) The shelter is coming to 14 years' OLD We are very fortunate to have this very nice gentleman called Ah Beng, in his 70's who is free-lancing to do repair work now and then, amidst the cats and dogs! Today he starts cementing 1) Re-cement over the worn out cement flooring and uneven-ness ("these few days, raining in the front porch, full of sand flowing in from the road.") 2) Creating a front drainage to reduce the flooding during heavy downpour Now he is paving the uneven ground and the stretch of cement pavement left by the previous tenant. Very difficult to maintain. Sand and debris all over every time volunteers flushed the floor. Now with the pavement even out, the pails and brooms can be placed properly.
