Felix’s story is featured in the first edition of the MettaCats’ notepads.
The elderly feeder who found Felix (who was paralysed in this hind limbs and no sensation in his tail when he was first examined by Dr Robin Au of Pet Clinic) is not able to afford the cost of boarding and the vet fees. The cost for caring for Felix is completely on the volunteers.
He was admitted to a vet clinic on the 28th August 2010 for sterilisation, postponed because of a sore on his lower back. Debridement of the sore was carried out twice.
He now needs daily dressing for healing of a chronic wound that will take time to heal.
