Update on #RITABEDOKmcds: the stitches around the tumour are to hold the dressing in place. It is ok to clean the wound and feed her medication but not ok to move her.

Her STORY: RITA was a senior community cat in Bedok of at least 12 years of age, fed by an elderly lady. She has weeping sores on her head, not responding to treatment and were worsening. www.mettacats.org accepted her in for more constant care. However the sores turned out to be cancer. She is back at www.mettacats.org and is on palliative care to make her comfortable.
